Advent Season has Begun at Catholic Academy

We are thrilled to bring back our long-standing tradition of the Advent Wreath,  The entire student body starts the day with prayer and song around the Advent wreath.  It is a wonderful opportunity to talk about the season of Advent and the birth of Jesus.  December is also a time for giving.  The 8th grade sponsored a food drive that was very successful.  This year, the Assumption St. Francis Soup Kitchen, will be the beneficiary of all the food collected.   Beh Meh, Director of the ENL program, has started a schoolwide thankful chain.  The very colorful chain has individual messages on each link of what students, faculty and staff are thankful for.  We are all connected in our appreciation of the school and the world around us.  A beautiful and timely message during this special season.  Preparations are underway for the Annual Christmas pageant, starring Kindergarten - Gr. 2.   The show will be held on Monday, December 19th at 1:00pm.  On behalf of the entire Catholic Academy family, we wish you a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
