In Memoriam

In Loving Memory of Mr. Charles S. Tabbi

Charles S. Tabbi was a life-long West-Sider who reached out to others, young
and old. His friends will always remember him as the "champion of the little
guy". His belief that "everyone deserves a chance" was woven into his daily
activity, and now will forever remain as his legacy.

Whether raising his family with Marilynn - his wife of 43 years, caring for
his parents, or assisting someone in the neighborhood, Chuck was always
there for people. His wisdom was legendary because of his unique delivery
and animated persona. A man of simple beliefs and a strong faith, he took
great pride in giving his son a Catholic Education at Canisius High School
and he was instrumental in having his granddaughters attend Catholic Academy
of West Buffalo.

Over his 72 years on the West Side, he was a supporter of Annunciation
Parish. Guercio's and the former Your Host Restaurant were two of his more
favorite spots and he was a true, pinstripe-blue, New York Yankees fan.

Chuck's greatest love of all was his family, and his affection for his three
granddaughters was a lesson in God's gift of love.

He touched so many lives in ways large and small and this memorial is
intended to keep alive his memory, and that which he stood for.
