Janet Liebel

My name is Janet Liebel. I received my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degree from
Buffalo State College. I began teaching First Grade at St. Ann’s Catholic School in Buffalo.
After that school closed, I went to St. Ambrose Catholic School in South Buffalo where I taught
Second Grade. I taught a total of 6 years for the Diocese of Buffalo. After that I taught in two
different Buffalo Public Schools: Campus North and Lorraine Elementary for 30 years. Between
the two schools, I taught First, Second, Third, and Fourth Grade. I retired in 2022 with 36 years
of teaching experience.

Now I am ready to take on this new opportunity as a Title 1 Math Teacher at Catholic Academy of
West Buffalo. I believe that all children need to feel safe and cared about in order to learn.
