Earl Schunk

It is truly an honor to serve as the principal of such a wonderful school community. With 47 years of experience in education, I bring a deep commitment to supporting the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of each student. 

My journey has included 33 years with Buffalo Public Schools as a teacher, administrator, and coach, followed by 11 years as a college basketball coach and assistant athletic director. Most recently, I served as the athletic director and assistant principal at Cardinal O’Hara High School for two years. 

I am excited to build on the incredible traditions and high standards of excellence that define the Catholic Academy of West Buffalo. I look forward to meeting all of you—students, families, and staff—and working together to ensure our school continues to thrive as a place of faith, learning, and community.
