About Us

Catholic education is alive and well in the diocese of Buffalo! At Catholic Academy of West Buffalo, we are so proud to be celebrating 36 years of excellence in education. 

Located at 1069 Delaware Avenue, in the heart of Buffalo’s historic district, our school is strong and vibrant and we embrace our Catholic faith and the diversity of our neighborhoods. We offer programs in grades Pre-K (3) through 8th grade. Students in our 2024 graduating class were awarded over $260,000 in academic scholarships to area high schools.  Three of our students in 8th Grade, were awarded the prestigious Oishei Scholarships, which is the most Oishei winners we have ever had in one graduating class.  There will be more scholarships to come! A wonderful testimony to the academic commitment of our students and faculty.  

We pride ourselves on a rigorous academic program and offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities. We have wonderful partnerships with Neglia Ballet, Second Generation Theatre and Hasek's Heroes.  We are challenged by changing educational strategies and always strive to keep current with curriculum and technological advances. All classes have been equipped with interactive whiteboards and new student laptops.
