NYS 60th District Senator Chris Jacobs awarded Sr. Gail with a Women of Distinction award at a wonderful ceremony at Catholic Academy, on Friday May 11th. The students, faculty and staff, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Sr. Carol Cimino, along with Board members, Sisters of St. Joseph and BISON Fund staff, were also in attendance. Sr. Gail has been involved in Catholic education for 51 years, with 46 of those years serving as a Principal. Catholic Academy has thrived under her leadership and her impact on thousands of children is legendary. Her passion for Catholic education and giving opportunities to students of all faiths, economic and racial backgrounds is the hallmark of her legacy. We are honored and extremely fortunate to have her as the leader of our school community. Congratulations Sr. Gail!!
