CATHOLIC ACADEMY STUDENTS WIN BIG AT WNY SCIENCE CONGRESS

Nine students in grades 6 and 8 entered submissions to the March 24th WNY Science Congress held at D'Youville College.  Six students came out with awards; an impressive showing!  8th graders Madeleine Cook and Monet Thongchah both brought home Silver medals. Erin Mills and Anna McCarthy, both 6th graders, won Bronze medals. 6th grader Aleecia Becerril, was awarded the Buffalo Museum of Science Women in STEM award.  Also in 6th grade, Nathan Hill won a Penn Dixie award.  We are very proud of our "budding scientists" and confident their academic future is a bright one!
