Music can open us up to new dimensions of sound and experience.  My goal is to encourage young people to make music “with the spirit and with the understanding” – to be enthusiastic participants in music and to understand the building blocks needed to advance musical skill.  Music reading is essential to this advancement, and I believe that all students can make progress as music readers.  I look forward to helping the students of CAWB discover how ringing handbells can be an excellent, inclusive way of learning basic musical concepts, while enjoying the act of music making with others.
