Personal Teaching Philosophy:
Children need to be given many opportunities to learn through hands-on activities and exploration. A teacher must also integrate the curriculum being taught to help students see real-world connections.
In the first grade, it's all about literacy! Well-developed comprehension skills help our young readers become strong academically across all of the subject areas.
What Makes Catholic Academy A Great School:
This isn't just a school, it's a family...and a very close-knit one, at that! Everyone here looks out for each other. Our teachers and staff members work closely together to provide enriching educational experiences for our students.
Our school is also special because we don't just teach the curriculum; we teach life skills! Our students learn the skills necessary to be caring people that make the right choices in life, and live as Jesus taught us.
