Catholic Academy History: My time at Catholic Academy began in 1992 when I enrolled my daughter in Kindergarten. Two years later I was elected Home School Association President, a title which I held for 6 years. In 1999, I was laid off from my job as a councelor at Kaleida Health and began substitute teaching at Catholic Academy. I joined the Board in 2000 and was offered the position of Development Director in 2002. In these 20 years I have witnessed many changes in Catholic education. Nonetheless, Catholic Academy has remained true in their mission of providing a solid, well-rounded education, in a diverse, spiritual and caring environment. I consider it an honor to work here and get strength from a strong administration and incredible and committed Board of Directors. Fundraising is very challenging in these times as the entire structure and climate has changed, but we continue to research and seek out new funding avenues. We are working tirelessly recruiting and nurturing new families...all our welcome!
