Beh Meh

ENL Coordinator & ENL Kindergarten - Gr. 2

Hello! Thank you for visiting my page!

My name is Beh Meh and this is my second year at Catholic Academy of West Buffalo. I was born in Myanmar and fled to the Thailand refugee camp when I was two years old. At the age of eleven, we migrated to the United States right here in Buffalo.  I graduated from Buffalo State College with a bachelor in Elementary Education. Although I am new to this school, I’ve worked with non-native English speakers for a couple of years mostly as a volunteer. I volunteered with Americorps during my undergrad which allowed me to work with students from different backgrounds and different educational levels.

To become a teacher has been my dream since the age of twelve inspired by my homeroom and ENL teacher. Just as how my 6th grade and ENL teacher made a difference in my life, I will continue to pass down the love I received and hopefully make a difference. I believe that every child can learn with the right resources and a safe learning environment.  I am grateful and blessed to be working here at CAWB. I am looking forward to a great year full of adventure! I will continue my education at Buffalo State College for Curriculum and Instruction (CUR) Master’s program.
